Our greased leather snaffle Foster is made from first-class oiled leather. During the tanning process, the hide is soaked in oil to make it more supple and durable. The oil can therefore penetrate much deeper into the pores of the leather than if the oiling is only carried out when the leather is finished. This significantly ensures that the greased leather bridle is more durable and remains supple in the medium term. The leather does not dry out.
With elegant contrasting stitching and a simple design, the jumping snaffle is ideal for everyday use. The soft headpiece and heavily padded noseband ensure outstanding comfort.

How to use the Foster snaffle, Swedish-combined
A Swedish-combined snaffle offers a closed mouth for the horse, similar to a Hanoverian noseband. When correctly buckled, the horse's mouth is kept closed by the locking strap to stabilize the bit in the horse's mouth. If the noseband is not pulled too tight, the horse's breathing and nerves are not impaired. Unlike the English combined noseband, the Swedish version has a pulley at the back of the noseband.
