You stand on an extra-deep, comfortable footbed with two rubber densities that deliver reliable grip even in wet or muddy conditions. Thanks to the flexible System-4 joint, the stirrup swings laterally, noticeably cushioning impact and protecting your joints, ligaments, and menisci even on long rides.
