Terms and Conditions for the Albenisa Prize Draw
Instant win at the wheel of fortune & raffle of an Albenisa store voucher – at the equestrian sports fair in Halle
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the prize draw organized by Albenisa GmbH, Friedensstraße 13b, 06184 Kabelsketal, Germany (hereinafter the “Organizer”). The prize draw consists of two components: a guaranteed instant win at the wheel of fortune (Section 4) and an additional raffle of an Albenisa store voucher (Section 5). By participating, the participant accepts these Terms and Conditions.
1. Duration and Location of the Prize Draw
Newsletter registration and the instant win at the wheel of fortune are only available at the Albenisa GmbH exhibition stand at the equestrian sports fair in Halle, on Friday, 18 September 2026, Saturday, 19 September 2026, and Sunday, 20 September 2026, during the fair's opening hours (hereinafter the “Promotion Period”).
The drawing for the Albenisa store voucher under Section 5 will take place on 27 September 2026 (one week after the fair ends).
2. Procedure and Consideration for the Prize Draw
Participation in both prize mechanisms – the instant win at the wheel of fortune (Section 4) and the raffle for the store voucher (Section 5) – requires registration for the Albenisa GmbH newsletter.
Providing the email address and granting consent to receive the newsletter constitute the consideration for participation. The prize draw is not offered free of charge but as an exchange: newsletter registration in return for (a) a guaranteed instant win at the wheel of fortune, and (b) automatic entry into the raffle for the store voucher.
By actively ticking the checkbox on the registration form, the participant expressly consents to receiving the newsletter (advertising by email regarding products, offers, and promotions of Albenisa GmbH). Without this consent, participation in neither of the two prize mechanisms is possible.
3. Eligibility to Participate
Eligible to participate are natural persons who are at least 18 years old and are visitors to the equestrian sports fair, who personally complete the registration form at the Albenisa GmbH stand during the Promotion Period and sign up for the Albenisa GmbH newsletter.
Regardless of the number of times a person visits the stand, each person may take part in the instant win (wheel of fortune) only once and in the raffle for the store voucher only once. In the case of multiple registrations using different email addresses, only the first registration will be considered.
Excluded from participation in the prize draw are all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the prize draw, as well as employees of the Organizer and their family members. In addition, the Organizer reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation where good cause exists, for example:
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or conduct of the prize draw, (b) in the event of violations of these Terms and Conditions, (c) in the event of unfair conduct, or (d) in the event of false or misleading statements made in connection with participation in the prize draw.
4. Instant Win at the Wheel of Fortune
Following newsletter registration, each participant may spin the wheel of fortune once and is guaranteed to win a promotional gift. The gifts on offer may vary by fair day; the current selection is displayed directly on the wheel of fortune itself.
The prize awarded is determined by the segment on which the wheel of fortune comes to rest. There is no entitlement to a specific gift. The instant win prize is handed over directly at the stand. Cash payment, exchange, or a subsequent change of the instant win prize are excluded.
Since every participant is guaranteed to receive a prize and there is no random selection as to whether a prize is awarded at all, the wheel of fortune does not constitute a prize draw in the legal sense (there is no element of chance regarding “whether” a prize is awarded, only regarding “which” gift is awarded).
5. Raffle for the Albenisa Store Voucher (Main Prize)
All participants who registered for the newsletter at the equestrian sports fair in Halle during the Promotion Period (Section 1) are automatically entered into the raffle for one Albenisa store voucher worth €200.
5.1 Determination of the Winner
The winner(s) will be determined on 27 September 2026 by means of a random drawing among all eligible participants.
5.2 Notification
The winner will be notified by email within 24 hours of the drawing, at the email address provided when entering the prize draw.
5.3 Response Deadline
The winner must respond within 7 days of notification by email to info@albenisa.de or service@albenisa.de. If the winner fails to respond in time, the claim to the prize lapses; in this case, the Organizer may draw a new winner.
5.4 Prize Delivery
The store voucher will be sent by email as a voucher code.
5.5 Exclusion of Further Claims
There is no entitlement to a specific prize. Cash payment, exchange, or a subsequent change of the prize are excluded.
6. Withdrawal of Newsletter Consent
Consent to receive the newsletter may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or by email to info@albenisa.de.
The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal and has no effect on an instant win prize already handed over at the stand. If the withdrawal occurs before the drawing under Section 5.1, the participant is excluded from the raffle; if it occurs afterward, a voucher prize already awarded remains unaffected.
7. Early Termination of the Prize Draw
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or terminate the instant win, the raffle, or both, at any time, without prior notice and without giving reasons. The Organizer will make use of this option in particular where proper conduct of the prize draw cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation, or errors in hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons.

8.1 Purpose and Legal Basis
The email address (and, where applicable, the name) collected at the stand is processed for the purpose of conducting the instant win and the raffle (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – pre-contractual measure/contract performance), as well as – based on explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 7(2) No. 3 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG) – for sending the newsletter.
8.2 Confirmation of Registration (Double Opt-In)
To ensure that consent genuinely originates from the holder of the email address provided, each participant receives a confirmation email. Ongoing dispatch of the newsletter is activated only after this email has been confirmed.
8.3 Retention Period
Data collected for the purpose of administering the prize draw will be deleted after completion of the raffle (Section 5) and expiry of the winner's response deadline, but no later than 3 months after the end of the fair, provided no ongoing newsletter consent exists. Newsletter data will be stored until consent is withdrawn.
8.4 Your Rights as a Data Subject
Applicable data protection law grants you the following rights as a data subject, provided the respective statutory requirements are met:
- Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR
- Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR
- Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR
- Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR
- Right to notification pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR
- Right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR
- Right to withdraw consent given, pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR
- Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR
Note on the right of withdrawal:
Consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected.
9. Liability
The Organizer shall not be liable for damages arising from use of the wheel of fortune or participation in the prize draw, to the extent permitted by law. The Organizer shall be liable for defects of title or quality relating to the gifts or the voucher in accordance with statutory provisions.

The prize draw is conducted by Albenisa GmbH. For questions or complaints, please contact info@albenisa.de or +49 (0)34605-22865. The Organizer's prize draw is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Recourse to the courts is excluded.
11. Severability Clause
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
